REQUIREMENTS BEFORE MICROBLADING PROCEDURE

Follow these instructions to maximize your results & avoid rescheduling when you show up.

  • Vaccines/Immunizations - please ensure your cosmetic tattoo appointment is scheduled a minimum of 14 days either BEFORE or AFTER to avoid any potential immune reactions.

  • No working out or any activity that will cause sweating the day of and for 7 days after the procedure.

  • No fish oil, aspirin, niacin, vitamin E or C, or ibuprofen (these are blood thinners) 48-72 hours prior unless otherwise directed by a physician.Tylenol is ok.

  • No waxing or tinting eyebrows 3 days before your appointment.

  • If you are on blood thinners I will not be able to do this procedure.

  • Procedure will NOT be performed if you are pregnant or nursing.

  • No botox or fillers 4 weeks prior or after procedure

  • No tanning or excessive sun one week prior. If you come to your appointment with a sunburn you will not be able to get microblading.

  • No Retin A, retinols for 7 days prior. The use of these and other anti-aging/acne creams, or serums containing acids after the brows have healed will fade brows prematurely

  • No Accutane for 1 year. NO exceptions.

  • No alcohol, coffee/tea or caffeine (even decaf), soda, or energy drinks 24 - 48 hrs. before procedure. Caffeine is a natural blood thinner causing you to bleed excessively during the procedure. It also makes your nerve endings more sensitive and prevents you from numbing.

  • No chemical peels, microdermabrasion, or resurfacing facial treatments 60 days before or after procedure (brows will peel quicker due to chemicals traveling under the skin).

  • Being on your menstrual cycle can cause hypersensitivity and the procedure can be more painful.

  • The procedure will NOT be performed if you have any lesions, irritation, or pimples. Moles are to be removed prior, and need to heal 1 month before microblading.

  • There is no guarantee how your skin will heal and take to the pigments. Every client has unique skin and some may take to the pigment better than others.

  • Other Contraindications: Any medical conditions that can affect your healing process and/or make your blood thinner will have to have a doctor's note before you can book and receive a microblading service.

  • Conditions such as diabetes, cancer, autoimmune disease, or hemophilia, also if you are undergoing chemotherapy, allergic to lidocaine, or on blood thinners or any other medications will require a doctor's note
