Lash Extension Policy
***Will not go over another lash tech’s work for fills. If you’re coming to see me with another tech’s lash extensions on you, you must book a full set. Click here for more info***
24 hour policy for cancellations or changes:
If any changes need to be made to your appointment, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance in order to avoid additional charges. This allows enough time to offer that time slot to another guest. Missed appointments (NO SHOWS) will be charged in full to the credit card with which they were held; appointments canceled or changed within 24 hours or less are considered LATE CANCELLATIONS, and you will be charged 50% of the service. If I am unable to provide your service due to non-compliance of the appointment policies, it will count as a late cancellation and you will be charged accordingly. A credit card number is required to hold all reservations.
Refunds:
Bellamía Artistry does not offer refunds on services. I take great pride in the work I do and offer a 3 day grace period to come in if you have any concerns with the service you received for a 15 minute touch-up.
This does not apply to 2/3 week fills.
Allergies:
If you experience an allergic reaction to any of the products used during a service, please notify me immediately for assistance in assessing the situation. If you have experienced allergic reactions to eyelash extensions in the past and think you may have an allergy to eyelash extension products, please let me know prior to your appointment. A patch test can be administered before your appointment. Simply email me with this request. **Refunds are not given for allergic reactions.**
please arrive early:
Every appointment is scheduled to allow sufficient time to provide the best experience for each guest. Please arrive at least 10 to 15 minutes early in order to complete all necessary paperwork without cutting into your session time. Missed appointments (NO SHOWS) will be charged in-full to the credit card with which they were held; appointments canceled or changed within 24 hours or less are considered LATE CANCELLATIONS, and you will be charged 50% of the service. If I am unable to provide your service due to non-compliance of the appointment policies, it will count as a late cancellation and you will be charged accordingly. A credit card number is required to hold all reservations.
late arrivals:
Arriving late will cut into your session time and may result in additional charges if your appointment has to be cancelled. If you arrive more than 15 minutes after your appointment time, your appointment will be canceled and you will be charged 50% of the service fee, per the late cancellation policy (see below). Out of respect for other guests, I will not allow your time to run over and cut into another guest’s appointment time because of a late arrival.
2 person max room:
For purposes of safety and sanitation, no one else is allowed into the service room other than (1) the Lash/brow technician, and (2) the person receiving the service.
Children are not allowed in the service room and there are no provisions for supervising children on the premises. If you bring a child with you who is under the age of 12 and there is no one to supervise them, your appointment will be canceled and you will be charged 50% of the service according to our late cancellation policy.

Unfortunately, as much as I love chatting with my clients, the more we talk the harder it is to for me to achieve seamless application, work quickly, and focus on the dynamic design pattern I have customized for you. I want your lashes to be the best they can be—super full and styled perfectly—so just keep that in mind and feel free to bring headphones if you'd like. I also have soft music playing in the background. I want you to be able to fully enjoy this relaxing service!
cell phones:
Cell phones must be silent and put away in order to minimize distractions and potential hazards—this is especially crucial for eye/lash services, which involve the use of tweezers and adhesives around the delicate eye area, requiring focus and precision. Please be courteous and respectful of my time and work by keeping your phone silent until your session is complete. I reserve the right to refuse service if you use your cell phone during your session.
deposits:
A non-refundable deposit is required for all services and will be applied toward your service. If you miss your appointment (NO SHOW) or cancel/change your appointment within 24 hours or less (LATE CANCEL), your deposit will be forfeited. If I am unable to provide your service due to non-compliance of our appointment policies, it will also result in a forfeiture of your deposit.
keep in mind:
Contact lenses MUST BE REMOVED during lash applications. Please bring a lens case to store your lenses in during your appointment. You may put your contact lenses back in following your appointment.
Come to your appointment eye makeup free, this means no mascara, eyeliner or eye shadow, or even facial moisturizer.
Lash extensions MUST NOT contact water, steam or heavy humidity for 24 hrs after application.
Eyelash extensions CANNOT be applied to persons allergic to any type of adhesives.
Please disclose any eye conditions, injuries, medications or treatments used on/in or affecting the eye area in advance.
If you’re taking acne medication, Retin-A or Accutane, talk to your doctor about stopping the medication before and during treatment to avoid complications. A doctor’s note may be required before services are performed.

Your privacy is very important to me. I collect your personal information such as your name, email and telephone number in order to create an easy client booking database and to keep you informed about all the fun stuff I’m up to. I know how annoying it is to get junk mail so will never disclose your personal information to any third party.
RESULTS:
Individual results may vary and are dependent on the length/volume of your natural lashes and on the type of extension you choose to have applied.
Microblading Policy
* Consultations are required prior to booking any microblading procedure. No exceptions. *
Contraindications:
UNDER 18 - Due to Washington state law, services cannot be performed on persons under the age of 18.
FEVER/COLD – Client should be in optimal health as the healing time for the brows can be impaired by a weakened immune system.
POST-INFLAMATORY HYPERPIGMENTATION – (PIF) Cannot be treated due to the high risk of pigmentation issues.
SCARS/BIRTHMARK- Client must be advised that results may vary and may not be consistent when attempting to camouflage these areas.
AUTOIMMUNE DISORDERS – Doctor’s approval is always required (i.e. doctors’ note).
SUNBURN – Must wait for 2 weeks prior to procedure.
SENSITIVITY/ALLERGY to ANESTHETIC – Topical anesthetic is generally used to numb the area during the procedure (although, it can be performed without the anesthetic). Consult with physician regarding alternatives for pain relief.
PREGNANT/NURSING – Absolutely no tattoos or microblading while pregnant or nursing.
CANCER – Cannot perform procedure while undergoing medical treatment and must be in complete remission. Doctor’s approval is always required (i.e. doctors’ note).
DIABETES – Must be controlled for a minimum of 1 year before procedure. Anticoagulant and other medications may interfere. Although it is not a serious condition, doctor’s approval is always required (i.e. doctors’ note).
BLOOD DISORDERS – Any blood disorder such as blood clotting sickle cell anemia, hemophilia, or even taking large doses of aspirin, doctor’s approval is always required (i.e. doctors’ note).
KELOID SCARRING – Cannot perform procedure due to increased risk of developing scar tissue.
HERPES – Cannot perform procedure during an active outbreak. Prescribed medication must be taken for 3 days prior to procedure to reduce risk of infection (i.e. oral doctor’s prescribed medications), consult with physician.
Trichotilloma Diagnosis
If you are at high risk if infection/must take antibiotics during dental work
SKIN DISEASE or DISORDER – Doctor’s approval is always required (i.e. doctors’ note).
PSORIASIS or ECZEMA – Brow and forehead region must not have an active outbreak.
ACNE – Brow and forehead region must be clear of breakouts. If taking prescribed topical or oral acne medication, doctor’s approval is always required (i.e. doctors’ note).
BOTOX and dermal fillers (brow/forehead/eye area) – must wait 2 weeks following injection date.
Skin peels – Skin must be completely recovered prior to procedure date (approx. 2 -3 weeks) following skin treatment date.
IPL or LASER treatments – Skin must be completely recovered (approx. 3 -4 weeks) following skin treatment date.
Tanning – Allow skin 7 days to recover following your tanning session.
Waxing – Allow skin 7 days to recover following your waxing session.
Contraindications - Medications:
There are many medications that can possibly interfere with the brow procedure. Any topical creams, serums, and prescribed medications should always be reviewed thoroughly.
Acetylsalicylic Acid (ASA) medications: Also known as Aspirin, as well as products containing aspirin (including ibuprofen; Advil)
Antibiotics - no procedure can be done if you have taken antibiotics in the last 30 days.
Anticoagulants - Blood thinners.
Taking Adderall
Niacin - vitamin B3 and nicotinic acid.
Retinol/Retin-A – Avoid use for 3 days prior to appointment. Doctor’s permission is required if it is a prescription medication (dose may interfere with treatment and client may have to stop use for a longer time period).
Acne medication (topical/oral) – Consult with physician (Cannot perform procedure on clients taking Accutane, Tretnoin medications).
Steroids – Discontinue use for a minimum of 6 weeks prior to procedure.
Cortisone - Doctor’s approval is always required (i.e. doctors’ note).
CHEMICAL PEELS – Should avoid 4 weeks prior. Client should be aware that use of any glycolic/salicylic acids will affect the pigment of microbladed brows.

Microblading Policy
Do not take Fish Oil or Vitamin E one week prior to the procedure (they are natural blood thinners)
Do not wax or tint your eyebrows 3 days prior to the procedure.
In order to avoid excessive bleeding and poor color deposit:
Do not drink alcohol 24 - 48 hours before your tattoo
Do not consume coffee before your procedure.
Caffeine is a natural blood thinner and will make you bleed excessively during the procedure. It also makes your nerve endings more sensitive and prevents you from numbing.Do not take an Aspirin or Ibuprofen for pain relief (these also thin the blood).

if you choose me as your artist you must follow the steps to completing the permanent makeup (microblading) process properly for the best results. Appointments are gone through very thoroughly, time is not rushed and I follow the client's feedback during the the entire session to make sure you are getting the best result possible. For this reason, refunds are unavailable.
results:
I'll measure your eyebrows using a Microblading Ruler to choose the perfect shape of brow which is individual to each client.
Clients are welcome to bring in images of the style of brow they like, or come in with the brow make up they normally wear on a day to day basis.
